I am thankful I have a husband who provides and works even when he doesn’t feel like it.  He provides for me, himself and the six grandchildren who live with us, as best he can.

I am thankful I have a house full of children who always provide the hugs and countless paper drawings of  I heart yous to always help me remember that I’m needed.

I am thankful for the church family who has our family in the forefront of their minds when it comes to giving gifts and offers of help of any kind.

I am thankful for a good friend who always has an encouraging word. I am thankful for a praying mother and sister and Sunday school class.

I am thankful for our grown children who are responsible and independent and provide for their own.

I am thankful for our grown children that keep me on my knees before God,  humbled enough to remember that I can do nothing to “fix” things except to seek His mercy and favor.

I am thankful that I am considered by Jesus to be one of His own, and in so being, I am subject to Satan’s attention to draw me away. I must be doing something that warrants his attention. Praise God.
